Raymondville truck driver dies in Franklin County crash
FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. - A Raymondville, Mo., man was killed Thursday morning after a truck traveled off the road in Franklin County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the crash occurred around 11:10 a.m. on Highway FF, involving an International 4900 truck.
The crash happened as the truck was traveling southbound on Highway FF. At some point, MSHP says the driver of the truck failed to navigate a curve in the roadway, causing the truck to travel off the left side of the road before striking a fence and several trees.
The man driving the truck, a 49-year-old man from Raymondville, was pronounced dead on the scene, according to MSHP. The man was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
