Raising Cane's opens new San Diego location near Pechanga Arena
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Raising Cane's recently opened a new restaurant in San Diego's Midway District.
On Wednesday, the fast-food chain, known for its chicken fingers, officially opened a new restaurant located at 3720 Camino Del Rio W., near Pechanga Arena.
The Midway District Raising Cane's features a double-lane drive-thru and a covered patio. While inside, customers will also see local memorabilia, including relics from local high schools to keepsakes of recognizable San Diegans, the restaurant chain stated.
"Get ready to dust off the sand, leave the beach and follow the smell of our craveable Chicken Fingers directly to the steps of our new Midway Restaurant," said Mark Condello, Raising Cane's area leader of restaurants.
The chain, which was founded in Louisiana nearly three decades ago, recently opened multiple locations in several different states, with plans to continue expanding its footprint in others.
Other California locations that recently opened were in Long Beach (opened Aug. 26) and Santa Fe Springs (opened Sept. 2), with another location set to open this fall in Canoga Park.
