Pumpkin Station opens five locations in San Diego County for fall

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Fall is here!

Cue the pumpkins, hayrides and fun! Pumpkin Station opened its five locations this past week. Their Rancho Bernardo and Bonita locations feature hayrides and corn mazes, while their Rancho Bernardo farm boasts sunflowers in full bloom.

"We planted over 150,000 sunflowers at the Rancho Bernardo farm," said Co-owner Mike Osborne. "Six different varieties. White ones, maroon, burgundy -- you name it, we've got it."

The farm will even provide shears for guests to cut their own flowers and make the perfect bouquet.

In addition to the flowers and hayride, they also have a corn maze and more than twenty goats.

At their other locations, they have more inflatables. Each location also specializes in fun for the whole family and, of course, pumpkins.

Osborne also shared that this year has been a great crop for pumpkins. He encourages families to pick a pumpkin that speaks to them and place it in a dry spot to help it last until Halloween.

Pumpkin Station hours vary by location. Rancho Bernardo is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., but starting Oct. 10, it will be open until 7 p.m.

Parking and admission are free at all five stations.
