Following renewed Russian attacks on energy facilities, as of the morning of 3 December over 17,500 more consumers have been left without power in Kharkiv Oblast, along with around 5,000 more in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts and an unspecified number in Kherson Oblast.

Details: In addition, power has been restored to everyone in Odesa Oblast who lost it due to an attack overnight. One employee has been injured and taken to hospital.

Emergency repair work is ongoing, with power engineers operating around the clock to restore electricity as quickly as possible.

"We urge consumers to use electricity rationally throughout the day, especially during peak consumption hours in the morning and evening. This helps reduce the load on the system," the ministry emphasised.

Background: On 3 December, rolling power outages are in effect across all oblasts of Ukraine.
