Power cuts in five Ukrainian oblasts due to Russian attacks on energy facilities
New power outages are affecting consumers in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Poltava Oblast on the morning of 18 June following Russian attacks on civilian energy infrastructure facilities.

Quote: "Emergency repairs are underway where security conditions currently allow. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore power to all affected consumers."
Details: The company urged consumers to shift high electricity usage to the period from 10:00 to 16:00, when industrial solar power plants operate most efficiently.
Ukrenergo warned that the situation in the power system may change and advised monitoring updates from the oblast energy companies.
Background: Since the evening of 17 June, Russian forces have attacked Ukraine with seven Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles and 239 drones of various types. Hits by two missiles and 26 drones have been reported, and 212 drones have been downed.
