Details: Tusk commented on new threats by Dmitry Medvedev. After a Russian drone hit an apartment block in the city of Galați, Romania, Medvedev urged the EU to prepare for more such incidents.
"This will keep happening. War is under way! And citizens of EU states, as people in countries at war, will no longer be able to sleep peacefully. So shut your mouths. This is only the beginning!" Medvedev posted on social media the day before.
Commenting on Medvedev's remarks and the incident in Romania, Tusk pointed out that Russian provocations are becoming increasingly frequent.
Quote from Tusk: "Yesterday the former [Russian] president Dmitry Medvedev said that the peaceful sleep of the EU citizens is over. Everyone in NATO should finally start taking these facts and words seriously."
