Photos: Home explosion in north St. Louis County
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – At least three people were hospitalized and others injured in an explosion Monday morning in unincorporated north St. Louis County.
According to Black Jack Fire Chief Paul Peebles, the explosion happened shortly before 9:15 a.m. in the 13800 block of Evan Aire Drive.
Firefighters arrived to find five homes on fire. After tending to the injured and sending people to the hospital, Chief Peebles said everyone was accounted for.
Spire crew persons, as well as the St. Louis County Bomb and Arson Unit, arrived a short time later to investigate the blast.
