Pedestrian fatally struck in south St. Louis: SLMPD
ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) is investigating a deadly hit-and-run that happened in the Gravois Park neighborhood Wednesday evening.
According to SLMPD, investigators from Accident Reconstruction were alerted to a pedestrian crash at Winnebago and Ohio around 7:20 p.m.
Police say one person was fatally struck by a vehicle. Officials say the suspected vehicle involved in the fatal crash left the scene.
SLMPD is urging drivers to avoid the area.
