Old Chain of Rocks Bridge once connected Missouri and Illinois along Route 66
A St. Louis area landmark is getting a lot of attention these days as Route 66 celebrates its 100th birthday. The Old Chain of Rocks Bridge served as the Route 66 bridge linking Missouri and Illinois for more than three decades.
