The Lazarevo oil pipeline control station in Russia's Kirov Oblast, built to facilitate the transport of oil to central Russia, has come under attack.

Details: Sokolov reported that drones attacked a company in the Urzhum district on the morning of 31 May. "There is a fire. There are no fatalities or injuries. Emergency services are working at the scene, and the situation is under control," he said.

The Russian governor pointed out that there is a ban in the region on posting photos, videos or any information about drone strikes.

Hovewer, footage showing the consequences of the attack has been circulating online.

Monitoring Telegram channels say that the target was the Lazarevo oil pipeline control station, located in the Urzhum district.

The Lazarevo oil pipeline control station was established to facilitate the transport of Siberian oil to central Russia and later began supporting oil transit towards the port of Primorsk on the Baltic Sea.

The facility is located 1,200 km from Ukraine's state border.
