Nude man wanders to woman’s campsite, performs sex act: Sheriff
TROY, Mo. – A Lincoln County Circuit Court judge signed an arrest warrant Wednesday for a Troy, Missouri, man accused of causing a public disturbance by exposing himself to a woman and her child while they were camping.
According to a probable cause statement from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on the evening of Aug. 11 at the Logan Life Conservation Area along Highway RA near Silex.
A deputy arrived at the conservation area just before 10:15 p.m. and found a naked man sitting on the ground. The man, identified as Nicholas C. Schell, appeared to be under the influence of narcotics.
The sheriff's office alleges Schell claimed to be a guest at the campground and had just come back from a bar.
The victim told the deputy Schell walked into her campsite while nude and began to perform a sex act on himself. She asked Schell to leave her alone multiple times, the sheriff’s office said, but Schell followed the woman and her daughter and dog as they returned to their car.
The Lincoln County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Schell with first-degree sexual misconduct. The arrest warrant carries a $2,500 cash-only bond.
Schell is not in custody at the Lincoln County Jail.
