Nordstrom closes St. Louis Galleria location this weekend
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. -- Nordstrom plans to close two locations this week, including one in the St. Louis Galleria over the weekend.
The retailer is set to close its St. Louis Galleria store on Aug. 24 and a location in Santa Monica, California on Aug. 26.
A Nordstrom spokesperson told FOX 2 in June the store located at 1453 Saint Louis Galleria Street in Richmond Heights is closing after its lease ends, and it would not be profitable to renew.
According to a WARN notice, 135 employees will be impacted after the store’s closure.
The Nordstrom spokesperson told FOX 2 that Dick’s House of Sports will be replacing Nordstrom after its closure.
Nordstrom still operates another location at the West County Center in Des Peres.
Nordstrom additionally has two Nordstrom Rack locations in the St. Louis area, one in Manchester at 100 Highlands Blvd. and one in Brentwood at 1585 South Brentwood Blvd.
