No agreements reached on continuation of Ukraine peace talks, Kremlin says

The Kremlin has said that no agreements have yet been reached on continuing negotiations with Ukraine.

Quote: "No, no agreements have been reached."

Details: Peskov claimed that Putin has consistently maintained a willingness to engage in negotiations, describing it as his "consistent position".

"He speaks about it constantly. He spoke about it two years ago at the Foreign Ministry, where he outlined the main parameters of our position necessary for ending the war," the spokesman added.

Regarding the prospects for further negotiations involving representatives of the US administration, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, Peskov said: "We are grateful to Mr Witkoff and Mr Kushner for their efforts and consider them very constructive. We understand that contact will continue."

Peskov also commented on Istanbul's willingness to host talks on Ukraine. He said Russia currently has no idea which venue might be used for negotiations on a settlement of the war in Ukraine.
