Nearly 100 goats cause a stir in Oceanside neighborhood
OCEANSIDE, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Officers responded to an unusual call over the weekend after around 100 goats were spotted wandering through an Oceanside neighborhood.
Spotted nibbling on some bushes outside an apartment complex close to Vista Panorama Way in Oceanside not too far from Highway 76, almost 100 goats wandered off from where they were supposed to be and nearly took over a neighborhood, the police department posted on social media.
Oceanside officers responded and stayed with the herd as it moved along until the herder arrived, the police department said.

Goats can actually be beneficial to fighting wildfires as they clear dry vegetation which helps prevent wildfires.
