Minors playing with gun leaves one shot in the arm: Police
ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) was alerted to an accidental shooting involving two minors around 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to Mitch McCoy, director of Public Affairs for SLMPD, a 14-year-old girl was shot in the arm in the 5800 block of Cabanne, which is located in the West End neighborhood.
The teen was taken to the hospital by first responders and was listed in stable condition, according to SLMPD. Since the shooting, another teen, a 15-year-old, was detained.
SLMPD is treating the incident as an accidental shooting, saying the juveniles were playing with a gun.
