MetroLink train delay caused by downed power line
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – MetroLink service was delayed Sunday evening due to a downed power line.
According to a statement from Metro, the light rail trains were not operating between the UMSL South and Forest Park-DeBaliviere stations. The initial shutdown was between the college campus and Delmar Loop.
Metro did not say when the power line went down.
Metro bus shuttles transported riders between UMSL South, Rock Road, Wellston, the Delmar Loop, and Forest Park-DeBaliviere stations as the transit organization’s traction power team repaired the damage.
Delays are expected to last at least an hour, according to Metro.
