Maybe, just maybe a spot shower? Warm forecast rolls on
ST. LOUIS - Very warm afternoon temperatures, especially for early October, will be sticking around through the weekend.
Highs Thursday through Sunday will be in the upper 80s, 15 degrees above average. It will cool off quickly in the evenings and be pleasant first thing in the mornings.
As for rain, could we maybe, just maybe see a spot shower late on Thursday? It’s possible. We are on the edge of the big blocking high pressure center out east. The southerly flow may bring just enough moisture to the region to help pop a few isolated showers and maybe even a thunderstorm into Thursday evening.
Most certainly, not everyone will see raindrops. The better chance of more widespread rain continues to be next Monday night and Tuesday.
