Man’s Chinese food craving leads to $3M lottery win

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. – It's customary to get frustrated when your lunch plans are derailed. That was not the case for one Missouri Lottery player, whose cravings led to a multi-million dollar jackpot.

“I was on my way to get lunch at a Chinese restaurant, and I saw that store,” the winner said. “I’d never played at that store before, so I thought I would try it.”

He stopped at the Circle K on Industrial Drive in Cedar Hill and purchased a $3 Million Supreme scratchers ticket.

Back in his truck, the man scratched off the first space and discovered a $100,000 prize. After scratching off all the spaces, he realized he'd matched enough winning numbers to claim the game's top prize of $3 million.

“Everything at that point was just a blur,” he said. “Needless to say, I didn’t make it to lunch!"

$3 Million Supreme is a $30 scratchers game that multiplies winnings up to 30 times and offers a top prize of $3 million. There is a 1 in 3.04 chance of winning a prize when playing a “$3 Million Supreme” scratchers ticket.

$3 Million Supreme players have won more than $44.9 million in prizes since the game began in October 2024. More than $64.6 million in unclaimed prizes remains, including another $3 million top prize and one $100,000 prize.
