Manny Pacquiao launches promotions co. at Pechanga Resort Casino with son's pro debut

TEMECULA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Worldwide boxing legend Manny Pacquiao announced Thursday the U.S. debut of his self-titled promotions company, Manny Pacquiao Promotions, which will launch at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula.

The inaugural event, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 29, will feature a full fight card culminating in a Featherweight title eliminator between knockout specialists Lorenzo Parra and Elijah Pierce.

“Pac-Man,” however, has a special treat in store for San Diegians, as his 24-year-old son Manny “Jimuel” Pacquiao Jr. will make his professional boxing debut at the event. Jimuel has had a successful amateur career while training in Los Angeles. His opponent for the bout has yet to be announced.

“It is an honor to bring Manny Pacquiao Promotions to the U.S.,” Pacquiao said via a press release. “Nov. 29 marks a pivotal new beginning. Some of my greatest memories took place in U.S. rings, and I’m proud to now create opportunities for the next generation of champions."

Tickets for the knockout event are now on sale, with VIP and package options available starting Oct. 15. The full fight card and broadcast details will be announced soon.

Boxing purists and casual spectators alike are in store for a thrilling 12-round main card, as Manny Pacquiao Promotions’ prospect, Parra (23-1-1), is looking to bounce back after a majority draw in his previous fight. The Venezuela native will have his hands full, however, as the 28-year-old Pierce (21-2) is riding a 12-fight win streak and won his last bout by knockout.

The winner will become the challenger for the reigning Featherweight Champ, Rafael Espinoza.

The 47-year-old Pacquiao, himself, may also not be finished touching gloves. The International Boxing Hall of Famer initially retired in 2021 before mounting a comeback in July 2025 by going toe-to-toe with WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios. The bout ended in a majority draw, with Barrios retaining his belt.

Talks are again on the horizon that Pacquiao will soon finalize a fight slated for December, as he aims for another crack at the Welterweight championship hardware.
