Mandy Murphey named ‘Best TV Anchor’ in readers’ choice poll
ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Magazine revealed its A-List Readers’ Choice Awards earlier this week. Our own Mandy Murphey was selected Best TV Anchor for 2025!
Approximately 36,000 people participated in the poll, according to the magazine, which honors the St. Louis region’s best in a variety of categories.
This is Mandy’s fourth consecutive victory as St. Louis’ best news anchor.
“I'm humbled to be selected as the A-List winner,” she said. “I am honored to have the opportunity to serve the St. Louis viewers for the last 34 years and will continue to do so.”
Mandy joined FOX 2 News in 1991 as the station’s Contact 2 reporter. She became a full-time anchor in January 1993. She currently anchors the 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 9 p.m., and 10 p.m. newscasts.
Over her illustrious career, Mandy has won 14 Emmy Awards and four Edward R. Murrow Awards for her work.
