Man shot, killed in south St. Louis' Lasalle neighborhood
ST. LOUIS - Police are investigating after a man was killed Sunday afternoon following a shooting in south St. Louis.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD), the shooting took place shortly after 4:50 p.m. on the 1500 block of S. 10th Street in south St. Louis' Lasalle neighborhood.
When authorities arrived on the scene, officers found a 52-year-old man on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds, SLMPD said. The man received treatment from EMS but was later pronounced dead on the scene.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
