Man set on fire for Pink Floyd album dies in Missouri

OSAGE BEACH, Mo. — Stuntman Ronnie Rondell Jr., the man on fire in a Pink Floyd album, has died. He was 88 years old.

According to his family, Rondell died on Aug. 12 at a senior living facility in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Famously, Rondell is known to Pink Floyd fans as the businessman on fire on the cover of the band's 1975 album, "Wish You Were Here." According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rondell's mustache was burned off during the photoshoot.

Rondell was a professional stuntman for many years. His work can be found in films including "How the West Was Won", "Twister" and "The Matrix Reloaded".

He also directed and was a stuntman coordinator. He started his own company, Stunts Unlimited, in 1970.

In 2000, Rondell retired to Camdenton, Missouri.
