Man seen waving gun around prompts SWAT standoff in Kearny Mesa
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A SWAT standoff happened Thursday night in Kearny Mesa.
Around 8:33 p.m., a male suspect was seen outside waving a gun around in the 8600 block of Spectrum Center Boulevard, according to the San Diego Police Department.
Authorities say the armed man was barricaded inside a hotel in the area which was temporarily evacuated.
About 25 law enforcement units responded to the scene.
Police confirmed no injuries have been reported, and one person has since been taken into custody. The SWAT standoff has ended.
