Details: Lukashenko said he reproached the French leader, saying there was little to discuss after Macron visited Yerevan but did not travel to either Moscow or Minsk.
Quote from Lukashenko: "What is there to talk about? He [Macron – ed.] said to me: 'Mr President, could you receive my envoy and speak with him so he can come and explain all this to me?'"
More details: Lukashenko has apparently agreed to this proposal. "I said: 'Please, if you're afraid to fly to Minsk, send your representative'," said Lukashenko.
Background: AFP, citing a source close to the French presidential administration, reported earlier that during a phone call on 24 May, Macron warned Lukashenko against drawing his country further into Russia's war against Ukraine.
