Lindbergh School District welcomes thousands back for new year
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - The Lindbergh School District is among several school districts welcoming thousands of students back to the classrooms Tuesday morning for the new school year.
The Lindbergh School District, along with the Kirkwood, City of St. Charles, and Farmington school districts, will start its school year Tuesday.
Lindbergh High School continued its annual tradition of 'Senior Sunrise,' where seniors gather before the first day of their final year to spend time together and prepare for the year ahead.
The Lindbergh School District serves over 7,300 students, with more than 2,400 attending Lindbergh High School, the district's only high school.
Many buildings within the district, including the high school, have been undergoing major renovations. The district also includes two middle schools, six elementary schools, two early childhood buildings, and a gifted education center located on the high school campus.
The Lindbergh School District reports that 82% of its students are achieving average-to-high reading performance levels this year. Additionally, nearly $25 million in scholarships were awarded to the class of 2025, highlighting the district's commitment to academic excellence.
