Lincoln County woman fraudulently obtains $30K in SNAP benefits: Police
LINCOLN COUNTY, Mo. -- A woman from Moscow Mills, Missouri, has been charged for fraudulently obtaining over $30,000 in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits.
According to court documents, Kristin Kilgore, 55, allegedly made false statements about her household income to obtain the SNAP benefits from March 2021 through September 2024.
Police said Kilgore made false statements to the Family Support Division during recorded interviews and submitted documents that did not include all household income.
Kilgore was residing with Jason Kilgore, who earned income from two drug packaging and medical supply companies, which she did not report.
Court documents state Kilgore intentionally did not report the additional income to FSD and received $30,054 in SNAP benefits and an additional $2,878 in Medicaid coverage.
Kilgore's fraud was discovered on April 18, 2025, and she was served a warrant for her arrest on Jul. 30. She was charged with two counts of stealing $750 or more and one count of forgery.
