Kirkwood woman charged with stabbing 3 people
PAGEDALE, Mo. - St. Louis County prosecutors have charged a Kirkwood woman after she allegedly stabbed and injured three people on Monday.
Angelina Jones was charged with three counts of first-degree assault, three counts of armed criminal action, two counts of fourth-degree assault, and one count of resisting/interfering with arrest for a felony.
According to the Pagedale Police Department's probable cause statement, the stabbings initially took place around 3:30 p.m. at a home on Julian Avenue in Pagedale, in which officials say the suspect was with a man that she knew.
Court records say Jones stabbed the man in his chest, shoulders and left forearm. The victim was then chased by the suspect but collapsed a few blocks down from the home where the alleged crimes occurred. Victim 1 was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
Jones also stabbed another man while she was chasing the first victim. The second victim was stabbed in his left chest and he also collapsed.
Jones then stabbed another victim, and he suffered a cut to his hand. Officials say the third victim was treated at the scene but did not cooperate with the investigation.
Pagedale police arrived to find Jones holding knives and had blood on her clothing. Police tried to apprehend Jones, but they say she resisted arrest and physically assaulted a sergeant.
FOX 2 has learned that both victims 1 and 2 are in the hospital, but the second victim, a 65-year-old man, is in critical condition.
Jones remains in custody under a $250,000 cash-only bond. Her arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 21.
