KAMPALA — Kalangala District Woman MP Helen Nakimuli has died following a surgical procedure at Alexandros Medical Center, authorities and sources close to the family have confirmed.
Hon. Nakimuli passed away on Sunday afternoon after undergoing an operation at the private medical facility located along Yusuf Lule Road in Kampala. Preliminary reports indicate that the procedure was unsuccessful, leading to complications that medical personnel were unable to reverse.
Her sudden death has sent shockwaves across Kalangala District and the national political scene, where she has been serving as Woman Member of Parliament.
