Increased clouds, comfortable temperatures for remainder of holiday weekend
High pressure remains in place over the Great Lakes today. We'll see a dry easterly breeze which will keep any rain showers mostly to our west in central Missouri. We will have increased cloud cover through the remainder of the holiday weekend which will keep temperatures cooler, closer to 80.
By Monday, we could see a few spot sprinkles in some of our southwestern counties, but a mostly dry forecast continues.
A strong cold front drops through our region on Wednesday which could bring a few spotty showers but moisture stays limited. Behind the front on Thursday will be a cool day, with highs in the 60s and low 70s. Overnight lows into Friday morning get rather chilly, dropping into the 40s and 50s.
Temperatures rebound to near 80 for Friday into the weekend.
