ST. LOUIS - We'll have a hotter day Friday with highs approaching the mid-90s and heat index values to 100 F.
Hot and humid conditions continue until the weekend, with Saturday feeling very similar. As a cold front approaches the region from the northwest, we'll begin to get into a more active pattern by next week.
Some model data indicates a complex of storms across northeast MO into west central Illinois overnight Saturday into Sunday morning. If the forecast materializes, the impact on our region is uncertain, but Sunday looks like another dry day for most of our viewing area.
Rain chances increase area-wide by Monday.
