Heat advisory continues for St. Louis region through Monday
The Heat Advisory continues for the St. Louis region through Monday. High temperatures today will once again be in the upper 90s with heat indices around 105. A very isolated shower or storm may bubble up in the heat of the afternoon, but most areas should stay dry.
Sunday will be very similar to Saturday with highs in the upper 90s and a few stray showers or rumbles of thunder through the afternoon.
Monday will still be very hot, but a cold front makes some progress toward the region on Tuesday. Rain chances increase later on Tuesday into Wednesday as the cold front moves through and brings temperatures back down to the upper 80s.
Hurricane Erin is now a category 4 storm and is expected to bring dangerous surf and rip currents to much of the eastern U.S. coast next week.
