Detectives with the Fallbrook Area Detective Unit, supported by the sheriff's Crime Suppression Team, served the warrant at a home located in the 750 block of Stewart Canyon Road on Aug. 14. The operation followed an investigation into stolen solar panel equipment and surveillance devices, led by Detective Estes.
During the search, deputies found multiple stolen items, including three solar panel lights, a solar panel, and a game camera — all confirmed stolen by the victim of a recent theft.
But that wasn’t all. Authorities also recovered a loaded 9mm handgun, a loaded .40 caliber handgun, a high-capacity 30-round pistol magazine, more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition, and approximately one ounce of methamphetamine.
Five individuals were detained at the scene, including William Wallace, 46, and Isabel Wallace, 30, along with their child and two other adults. William and Isabel were arrested and booked into the Vista Detention Facility on a list of felony charges, including possession of stolen property, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of loaded firearms.
The investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to identify other potential suspects and recover more stolen property, said Sheriff's Office officials.
