Details: Yevrayev said traffic heading from Yaroslavl towards Moscow is suspended due to a Ukrainian drone attack on Yaroslavl Oblast.

Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) also announced the temporary suspension of operations at Yaroslavl airport.

Update: Yevrayev stated in the morning that not all drones had been downed and that fuel storage tanks had been hit.

"Most of the drones were downed, but industrial fuel storage facilities were hit. Emergency services are currently tackling the blaze," he reported.

Update: Yaroslavl is home to the Yaroslavl oil pumping station and the Slavneft-YANOS (Yaroslavsky) refinery, one of the key facilities in Russia's oil refining industry. The refinery processes around 15 million tonnes of oil annually, ranking fourth in terms of refining volume in Russia.

The refinery has repeatedly been targeted by drones, including attacks on 8 and 13 May.

Background: Authorities in Yaroslavl Oblast on 22 May reported a drone threat and temporarily suspended traffic on a motorway leading towards Moscow.
