From Wiz Khalifa to The Beach Boys, here are some concerts in San Diego this week
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Nothing says summer like live music and late-night sunsets! San Diegans looking for entertainment can check out the following concerts happening at both indoor and open-air venues all over the county.
Wednesday
Frente Cumbiero, an experimental cumbia band from Colombia, will bring its modern take on South American sounds to Casbah in the Midtown neighborhood Wednesday night at 8:30 p.m. Spacehall Sound Machine, a retro-inspired global groove band based in San Diego, will open the show, which is open to guests 21 and over. Thursday
On Thursday, American rock band Counting Crows will take the stage at Gallagher Square at Petco Park for "The Complete Sweets! Tour" with special guest The Gaslight Anthem. Doors to the all-ages event open at 5:30 p.m. and the show is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available here.
Femi Kuti, the son of Nigerian music legend and Afrobeat founder, Fela Aníkúlápó Kútì, will have a show at Belly Up in Solana Beach Thursday night. The show, scheduled to begin at 8 p.m., is open to guests 21 and over. Purchase tickets here.

Friday
Wiz Khalifa is bringing his "Good Vibes Only Tour: Smoker's Edition" to North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista on Friday at 6:30 p.m. The all-ages show will also feature other rappers and hip-hop artists such as Dom Kennedy, Earl Sweatshirt and Curren$y. Saturday
The Beach Boys will bring their "good vibrations" to America's Finest City this weekend with a concert at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park. The San Diego show is a stop on the band's "Sounds of Summer Tour." Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here.
According to The Rady Shell's website, the concert will not include Brian Wilson (who passed away in June), Al Jardine or David Marks.
