Five wanted after robbery, shooting in STL's Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood

ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public's help with finding five suspects accused of robbing three teenagers and shooting one in the city's Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood.

On Thursday, SLMPD released photos of five suspects wanted in connection with the robbery and shooting investigation.

According to SLMPD, on the evening of July 25, three teenage boys were in the area of the 2800 block of Stoddard Street when they were approached by five unknown male suspects out of nowhere.

The victims told police that the suspects robbed them of their belongings at gunpoint. As the victims attempted to run away, the suspect allegedly fired gunshots at them.

A 15-year-old boy was struck in the foot and hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. No other injuries were reported.

St. Louis police have identified one wanted suspect as 28-year-old De’Vontey Anderson. The identities of the four others are unknown. SLMPD says all five suspects should be considered "armed and dangerous."
