Five people injured in Russian attacks on Kherson Oblast

Five people were injured in Kherson Oblast as a result of Russian strikes on 21 May.

Quote from the prosecutor's office: "Investigators have found that the Russian army conducted a large-scale airstrike on settlements in Kherson Oblast on 21 May 2026. They also attacked the area with artillery and mortars and used various types of drones.

As of 17:30, four people had been injured as a result of the Russian aggression."

Details: The authorities reported that Russian forces had dropped aerial bombs on the Kherson district in the morning, injuring two men.

In addition, two police officers were injured during mine clearance operations.

Kherson City Military Administration reported that a 67-year-old woman had been critically injured after an explosion involving an unknown explosive device.

Early reports indicate the woman picked up an unidentified device in Kherson's Dniprovskyi district.

She sustained a blast injury, traumatic amputation of her left hand and shrapnel wounds to the head, chest and legs.
