Ferguson hosts prayer and healing day for Officer T.J. Brown
The Ferguson Police Department is hosting a day of prayer and healing today for Officer T.J. Brown, who is still recovering from serious injuries sustained a year ago.
Officer T.J. Brown was injured during a protest marking the 10-year anniversary of Michael Brown's death.
Officer Brown spent several months in the ICU following the incident, which occurred during a protest last year. The event today is being held in the police department parking lot on South Florissant and will run from 1 to 2 in the afternoon.
Family, friends, neighbors, and faith leaders have been invited to join the day of prayer and healing.
Saturday marked 11 years since Michael Brown's death.
