Ferguson Brewing Co. closing; Good News Brewing takes over
FERGUSON, Mo. — Ferguson Brewing Co. will close its doors on Dec. 20, passing the torch to Good News Brewing Ferguson, which is set to open in early 2026 at the same location.
After more than 15 years as a popular gathering spot in North County, the space at 418 S. Florissant Rd. is going to transform. Good News Brewing says it'll be a continuation of what Ferguson Brewing started as: A spot where people can come together over beer, food, and community.
"Ferguson Brewing has been a cornerstone for connection and conversation in this city," said Robb Wiesen, owner of Ferguson Brewing Company. "We’re proud of what we’ve built and grateful for the community that supported us."
Rodney Fickas, who will operate Good News Brewing Ferguson, said, "Good News Brewing shares our belief that gathering matters. Ferguson Brewing laid a foundation as a welcoming local spot. We want to build on that—creating a place where the community feels at home."
Good News Brewing Ferguson will offer craft beers and wood-fired pizzas in a casual, family-friendly environment. The new concept will also feature an expanded lunch menu and specials inspired by Ferguson Brewing favorites, offering familiar flavors reimagined with a slightly different approach.
Dan Tripp, founder of Good News Brewing Company, reflected on the connection between the two breweries, looking back on his early visits to Ferguson Brewing, and expressed his excitement for the continuation of its community focus.
Good News Brewing Ferguson will be open every day of the week for lunch and dinner, with plans to also host community events, neighborhood gatherings, and private celebrations.
