Dying man found near train tracks in Ellendale: Police
ST. LOUIS – A man died Monday morning after being found near train tracks overnight.
According to Evita Caldwell, a St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department spokeswoman, railroad employees spotted the man around 3 a.m. and contacted law enforcement.
The man was rushed to the hospital with head trauma and died a short time later, Caldwell said. He was 47.
The St. Louis Medical Examiner will determine the man’s official cause of death. His name has not been released.
