Defense secretary to serve as honorary starter for San Diego NASCAR race
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth will be the honorary starter for the inaugural NASCAR Race the Base at Naval Station Coronado on Sunday, which marks the first time a street course race has been held on an active U.S. military base.
