Death toll from Russian strike on Dnipro rises to 11 as bodies of woman and child recovered from rubble
Rescue workers have recovered the bodies of a woman and a child from under the rubble of a destroyed building in Dnipro, bringing the death toll from the Russian strike to 11.

Quote: "There are now 11 fatalities... Two of them are children. Rescue workers recovered the bodies of a woman and an eight-year-old boy from the ruins of a four-storey building in Dnipro damaged by the enemy."
Details: Another 37 people were injured. Twenty-two of them remain in hospital.
"They have shrapnel wounds, fractures, lacerations and cuts, as well as blast injuries and acoustic trauma," Hanzha said.
Background: Russian forces attacked Dnipro on the night of 1-2 June. Fires broke out across the city and extensive destruction was recorded. Earlier reports indicated that nine people had been killed, including a rescue worker who was on his way to an emergency call and a boy aged about 2.
