Communities to host National Night Out events on Tuesday

ST. LOUIS - Communities across the St. Louis region are set to participate in National Night Out on Tuesday evening, a community event aimed at promoting public safety.

The events will feature meet and greets, food and refreshments, games for children, and safety demonstrations for families. It aims to connect residents with first responders and strengthen neighborhood ties.

Breckenridge Hills Police will host their National Night Out event at Perry Hopkins Park from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday night. University City will hold its event from 5 to 7 p.m. at Centennial Commons.

On the Illinois side, East St. Louis officials will host their event from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at 8206 State Street.
