Circle K offering gas discount for San Diego drivers for one day only
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Drivers across California can fill up for less on Thursday, Oct. 9 as Circle K rolls out a temporary fuel discount — up to 40 cents off per gallon — at participating locations.
The deal runs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. as part of the convenience store chain’s latest "Fuel Day Pop-Up" promotion, aimed at helping drivers save as the year winds down.
“With the holidays approaching, we know every little bit of savings makes a difference,” said George Wilkins, vice president of operations for Circle K’s West Coast Business Unit. “That’s why we aim to provide everyday value and savings every visit and continue our Fuel Day Pop-Up tradition focused on helping customers save big when we can.”
The price at the pump will automatically reflect the discount during the promotion window. The company noted that the exact savings may vary slightly by location, in accordance with local regulations.
California drivers can find their nearest participating location using the convenience store chain’s Store Locator. A representative with the company said participating locations include stores in San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, San Bernardino, and more.
For San Diegans and other California drivers, it’s a rare opportunity to see prices drop at the pump — even if just for a few hours.
