Children’s Hospital honors Laila Anderson with Heart of Gold award
She won the hearts of the city and its hockey team in 2019 during her courageous fight against a life-threatening disorder. Laila Anderson, now an enduring symbol of hope, was honored Thursday night by the hospital where she received her treatment.
