Chick-fil-A offering free side items at San Diego locations this October
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Chick-fil-A lovers in San Diego are in for a treat this October. Starting Monday, Oct. 6 through Saturday, Oct. 11, participating Chick-fil-A restaurants across the San Diego area will be offering a free side item to guests — no purchase necessary.

The offer includes a choice of a small or medium Waffle Potato Fries, Mac & Cheese, or the Kale Crunch Side. To redeem the complimentary side, guests must use the Chick-fil-A App during the promotion period. The offer is limited to one side per guest.
“The perfect side item, whether it’s our crispy Waffle Potato Fries or our creamy Mac & Cheese, can wonderfully complement our Guests' favorite Chick-fil-A entrées, so we’re excited to reward them with a variety of options,” said Luis Gomez, local owner-operator of the Chick-fil-A located on Highway 78 and Vista Village in North County.
Chick-fil-A encourages customers to check with their local restaurant for specific hours and participation. The promotion is valid at participating San Diego-area locations.
“We're always looking for simple ways we can show appreciation to our community,” Gomez added.
