According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, detectives at the Fontana Station were alerted by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to possible child pornography material.

Detectives confirmed the material was sexually explicit in nature and involved minors.

Daniel Bondietti, 37, from Carlsbad, was identified as the owner of the device used to send and receive the pornographic material involving children, authorities said.

They also learned that Bondietti was a suspect in a similar but unrelated case from another state.

Charges were filed with the other agency and a felony warrant has been issued for Bondietti, the sheriff's department confirmed.

After serving a search warrant at his home, investigators from the Fontana Station and Crimes Against Children unit seized several electronic devices to process for evidence and arrested Bondietti.

Investigators believe some additional victims have yet to be identified and have publicly released Bondietti's photo as they ask for help.
