Boil water advisory issued in Eureka
EUREKA, Mo. – Missouri American Water has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for its customers in the Eureka area.
The advisory is due to a water main break, according to a statement from the water company.
The advisory began just after 9:30 a.m. Sunday and is expected to end around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Residents and businesses in the affected area are advised to follow the boil order until further notice. This includes bringing drinking and cooking water to a rolling boil for three minutes. The water is OK for bathing, washing, and other non-consumable uses.
