Amber Alert: Missing 12-year-old girls in Northwest Missouri
ROCK PORT, Mo. - An Amber Alert has been issued for two missing 12-year-old girls, Emily Harrington and Emma Sue Hale, in northwest Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued the alert early this morning after the girls were last seen around 8:40 PM near Rock Port High School in Rock Port, Missouri.
Emily Harrington is described as 5-foot-4, weighing 135 pounds, with brown hair. She was last seen wearing a brown T-shirt, light-colored leggings, and cowboy boots. She often wears her hair in a bun and has a birthmark on the front of her neck.
Emma Sue Hale is 5-foot-2, about 120 pounds, with long dark blue hair. She was last seen wearing a red Chief's hoodie and black leggings.
Authorities believe the girls may be with a white man who goes by Alec or Alex, possibly from California. They are believed to be traveling in a blue Buick Century from the year 2000, with Missouri plates GD8W5J.
The location of the girls and the identity of the man are currently unknown.
