$7.5 million winning scratcher sold in Chula Vista
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A California Lottery scratcher sold in southern San Diego County was worth more than $7 million, part of $17.5 million that five people across the state won this month.
The California Lottery announced a $7.5 million winning 2025 scratchers game was purchased from Best Bev Liquor at 640 E Street in Chula Vista by Tara Alisso.
The lottery did not disclose which scratcher game Alisso had or when it was purchased.
Alisso was one of five people across the state to win big in August.
Diego Duval Gonzales won $7 million on a Crossword Extreme Scratchers game purchased at Carbaugh’s Market in Lompoc.
Miguel Ramirez won $1 million from a $100 Million Mega Cash Scratchers game purchased at Three Jay’s Liquor in Los Angeles.
Reginald Swamy won $1 million in a 50X The Cash Scratchers game purchased at Andrea’s Market in Millbrae.
Theodore Sanders won the top prize of $1 million from a Triple Red 777 Scratcher purchased at a Stater Bros in San Jacinto on S. San Jacinto Avenue.
In addition to California Lottery scratchers, the Powerball is expected to roll to an estimated $815 million for Wednesday's draw.
