3.2 magnitude earthquake shakes Warner Springs area

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Did you feel it? A 3.2 magnitude earthquake shook the Warner Springs area shortly after 2 a.m. Friday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

Coordinates show the quake struck south of Warners Springs in an area off Los Coyotes Road.

Preliminary data estimates it struck at a depth of about 10 miles.

According to the community Did you Feel It? map on the USGS site, shaking was felt as far west as the Carlsbad coast and as far south as Alpine. Several responses were submitted online following the quake.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
